El Pedregal (in the image) is one of the 6 school cafeterias that have been fully operational in Vacas since mid-April. Global Humanitaria, in coordination with the directors of the centers and the representatives of the educational councils of each dining room, is responsible for the preparation of menus as well as the production of vegetables in the school gardens, and the provision of chicken meat , beef, eggs and gas, benefiting nearly 400 schoolchildren.
In this small community, together with parents, teachers and community authorities, we have launched a new biogarden to supply vegetables for the dining room and nutritional improvement for school boys and girls. It has a total area of 60 m2 covered with mesh.
Likewise, in the rest of the schools in Arbieto, Tarata and Vacas. We continued with the sowing of seeds for the production of fresh vegetables, reaching a total area of 313 m2.
